The Outer Worlds audio team and I shared some of how we implemented sounds for the game in a walkthrough that Audiokinetic posted on the their blog:


Part 1 includes some of the implementation approach for my work with creature and robot audio using Wwise, Unreal and proprietary tools.


Part 2 outlines my work creating audio for the 'Time Dilation' player ability using Blend Containers, RTPCs and scripted emitters in the world.
